“ Cute little restaurant located in a strip mall. If it gets busy I can see parking might be hard to find but it was very easy when I went (Monday lunch). The food was great but my only qualms was that some of their menu items either took too long to come out during my lunch break or weren't available year round. Other than that, food was great and is a great addition for the winter when it's colder! ”
“ The meat broth is rich and flavorful, delivering a deep and satisfying taste. The dumplings taste just like the ones my mom makes at home, filled with warmth and comfort. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh, enhancing the quality of every dish. ”
“ Their galbitang is huge and always hits the spot. They give you plenty of side dishes and I was able to sample some of my friend's bossam which was delicious. Can't wait to try more of their menu! ”
“ Tang in Buena Park is a gem for delicious Korean comfort food. Their soups and stews arrive piping hot with rich and authentic flavors. The portions are generous, and every dish feels like home-cooked (just a little more intense flavor). The signature soups are very good. They also wrap the large mandu in house and give very generous filling. Server can speak Korean, English and Chinese! ”
“ I recently tried Tang and I was so shocked with how much I liked it, and on how filling the soup was! We got the spicy soondaeguk which was a Korean blood sausage soup, as well as their modeum suyuk which was filled with boiled ox tongue, shank, and knee cartilage. These meats were so tender and high in collagen, so super good for your skin! They provided a sauce to dip your meat in as well, and that and the banchan they had just made it a great meal. Korean soups pair so well with rice, so make sure to grab a bowl for a full and hearty meal. They have a bunch of other appetizers and Korean dishes to pair with any of the soups you can get, so we got their seafood pancake. It was a bit eggy for me compared to what I'm used to, but still had great flavor. They also have bossam and jokbal, as well as other soups like galbi tang and seolleong tang, so something is sure to catch your eye. Highly recommend coming to Tang the next time you're craving Korean comfort food, especially as the weather's getting colder! ”
“ My family and I ordered galbi tang and they are very comforting and delicious. The kimchi is superb and the radish kimchi so refreshing. Service is chill and the place is clean and nice. ”
“ The galbi tang here is so good! It definitely warms you up and comforts you when you need soup for the soul. I have never eaten at the establishment so I can't speak on the ambiance, however I do know that they package their food with the utmost care and love. Service is professional. ”
“ Great spot for Korean casual / comfort food! For a party of 7, we were left feeling satisfied with the amount of food we ordered. Very affordable and amazing service! We got seated instantly as it wasn't busy on a Saturday night. What we ordered: - 2 steamed pork belly set (bossam) - 1 seafood pancake - sides of rice to carb up - 1 terra & 2 jinro is back to drink! The highlight of our meal was actually the sides. The kimchi and radish kimchi were so good that we asked for multiple refills. We also enjoyed the seafood pancake. Would love to come back and try the soup (tang) as the restaurant name speaks for itself!! ”
“ If you're looking for a cozy meal, look no further because this was the epitome of a homey meal. I could tell it was going to be a good place when all the aunties and uncles were rolling in for a casual night's dinner. - Chicken ginger soup (4/5) was steaming hot and had lots of chicken meat on there! I do wish it had a bit more ginger but it was a lot and I had extra for the next day. I could tell it was made well considering how the soup looked gelatinous the next day. - Steamed dumplings (5/5) I was so surprised at how big the dumplings were. Th meat was so moist and it was paired perfectly with a bit of soy sauce and chili pepper. - Cold Noodles (5/5) I thought I didn't enjoy cold noodles until I went here. I know each place will vary but the mustard & vinegar along with the meat really hit the spot. The portion was also pretty massive. - Mini Bossam (5/5) I can't speak to what exceptional bossam is but I really enjoyed eating it here. I love all the sauces that they give too! Overall, couldn't recommend this place more! Plus the service was truly exceptional. ”
“ I love that their dishes tasted authentic, and love the cozy and homey atmosphere. The soups were served sizzling hot which is how I like it. We ordered their Assorted Boiled Beef dish, I really love how tender and flavorful it was. Their Pork Belly Soup was equally satisfying! For appetizers we had their Fried Dumplings, it was one of the best korean dumplings I had! So fresh, and love the sauce it came with. If you love or miss authentic korean food, this is definitely a spot to visit! ”
